Alan Richter

Alan Richter has consulted to corporations for many years in multiple capacities. Primarily, he has provided strategic consulting services in the human resource development and change management arenas, and has designed and developed innovative curricula for corporations and organizations.

Alan has led teams in the development of leadership programs and processes for companies and organizations from new managers through to senior executives. He has also designed pioneering instructional products in the areas of leadership, business ethics, workforce diversity, globalization, marketing, technology and corporate communications. He is the creator of The Diversity Game©, an award winning training tool, and The Global Diversity Game© and The Change Cycle Gameä. He has worked closely with organizations including: Avon, BellSouth, GartnerGroup GE, Home Depot, MetLife, NASA, Principal Financial Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Prudential, Sony, and the United Nations.

He has also been a presenter at many conferences such as the Conference Board, the International Institute for Research, ASTD, the National Diversity Conference (SHRM), the American College of Insurance, The Arthur Page Society, the ASJA, the Human Resource Planning Society, NASAGA and ISAGA (North American/International Simulation and Gaming Association), the National Multicultural Institute (NMCI), and PBS's Adult Learning Satellite Service.

Alan has an M.A. and a B.A.B.Sc. from the University of Cape Town, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, London University. He is currently a partner at QED Consulting.
