Roland has a degree in Business Management from
schools in Munich, Germany and Innsbruck, Austria. He obtained a Master's of
Science Degree in Organisation and Consulting from Middlesex University,
London, in 2001. Before becoming an independent consultant and trainer, Roland worked for twelve years as a manager in various sales and marketing positions including Sales and Marketing Director for an IT systems company belonging to Daimler Benz Interservice (debis) Corporation for four years. While at debis, Roland's main areas of work included the establishment, organisation, motivation and training of sales and service teams. He participated in numerous internal company management training courses.
In 1991, Roland became an independent trainer and consultant, and since 1995 he has been the Managing Director of MenergeMent - The Trainer and Consultant Company Inc., a Germany-based consulting company offering services in German and English.
Roland is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR), the American Association for Experiential Education (AEE USA), and the International Coach Federation (ICF).
