Patricia Coleman

Patricia Malidor-Coleman is an intercultural coach and diversity and inclusion trainer specializing in the cultures of Latin America, the Caribbean, North America, Western Europe, Northern and Western Africa.  
 
As President of A-Z World Connections, Inc., an international consulting and training company, she provides global business, professional and life transition executive coaching, individual and group intercultural training, multicultural customer service and sales seminars, international education counseling and coaching, diversity training, and seminars on travel industry and hospitality business topics. Originally from France, Patricia exhibited an early love for foreign languages and global cultures by dressing her dolls in various international wear and creating a different “language” for each of them. 
  
With a BA in International Business and Modern Languages from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and an MBA with a concentration in International Business and Marketing from Tampa College, Patricia has studied, taught and done business internationally for over 25 years. Much of her work has involved functioning as a consulting agent between global companies and their franchises worldwide. In this role, she assists her clients in global implementation of their mission statements, global talent sculpting, marketing programs and procedures, all in respect of the local culture. 
  
Drawing on her own experiences as an expatriate and international student, Patricia has developed youth programs for students of all ages moving, studying or traveling abroad. She partners with major universities in the U.S.A. and Canada to offer programs such as international youth camps for children to learn and experiment with language and culture while building cultural competence. 
 
Patricia speaks English, French, and Spanish, and has basic to intermediate knowledge of Portuguese, German, Russian, and Swedish. She is a certified teacher of French and English as a Second Language, and has received “Trainer of the Year” honors from several of her client companies. 
  
Patricia is a past president and board member of SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) USA, and serves as an advisor to SIETAR Florida. Additionally, she has been involved in international sports events such as the Olympic Games and Soccer World Cup as a volunteer intercultural consultant to guide and support female athletes.
